This hands on class will lead you through image manipulation exercises using Adobe Photoshop Elements, an affordable image editing software for your digital photos. Learn tools, navigation, and techniques of the software with exercises specific to Window Treatments. Using photos and sketches as visual clarification for your projects, communication among the Designer, Client, Workroom, and Installer will improve, reducing costly mistakes.
In this class, you will practice the basics of image manipulation with selection and layers exercises. Add proposed window treatment styles to client photos, adjust lighting, adjust perspective and crop images, combine two images, create a work order drawn to scale, review online photo albums and printing options, and many other examples will be presented to inspire you and help you feel comfortable using the software. This class is recommended for Interior Designers and Workrooms. Students may have the Elements software and want assistance with getting started, or may be considering purchasing the software and want to understand its capabilities.
